Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) is pleased to announce the upcoming Small Business Expo on Saturday, April 26, from 10am to 1pm in Building F, Room 203 on the BPCC campus, located at 6220 East Texas Street in Bossier City. This community-focused event is free and open to the public.
The Small Business Expo is designed to support and celebrate local entrepreneurship while connecting aspiring business professionals with valuable educational and financial resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Network with local entrepreneurs and small business owners
- Explore vendor booths featuring products and services from area businesses
- Attend a financial literacy session hosted by JP Morgan Chase at 11am
- Learn about BPCC’s business programs and scholarship opportunities
A special feature of the event includes participation by members of the Shreveport Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who will showcase businesses owned by their members, highlighting entrepreneurship within the local community.
Faculty from BPCC’s College of Business and Information Technology will also be available to discuss the college’s associate and certificate programs, which are aligned with industry-based certifications (IBCs) to prepare students for success in today’s workforce. Programs highlighted include:
