Minden, LA – Services celebrating the life of A.C. Butler will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodard Cemetery in Ada Taylor, LA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Winn Parish, LA on September 3, 1929 to Moses and Nettie Cox Butler. He served in the Army after High School. He retired from Louisiana Transportation and Development repairing roads. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be missed.
A.C. was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Nettie Butler; wife, Anita Butler; daughter, Catherine Turner
He is survived by his son in law, Gary Turner; grandsons, Earl Allen Pauley and Edward Pauley and spouse Sonya; sister, Doris Simmons and husband Jimmy and numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
