Minden ACE Hardware celebrated its 20th anniversary with a weeklong event that featured daily sales and concluded with a barbecue party on Saturday.
Customers had the opportunity to win prizes throughout the week, including a Yeti Tundra 45 cooler. The Saturday event included balloon animals, games, snow cones provided by Sneaux Ceaux, and a variety of food.
Todd Leak, an ACE employee, said the store’s focus on service continues to draw both employees and customers.
“John has done an amazing job with this store promoting customer service,” Leak said. “This is my retirement job, and I wanted to work here because they believe customer service is important. The customers are the most important thing in that store.”
“You get good relationships with customers; it’s just a fun store to be at,” he added.
