All-Stars Roundup: Minden teams continue winning ways

Minden’s group of All-Stars teams had a good start to the weekend in state tournaments.

The Minden Darlings beat Pineville, 7-6, at the state tournament on Friday night. 

The Minden Angels defeated Ponchatoula 12-2 in three innings. Raleah Harris pitched two innings with two strikeouts  Hallie Sutton pitched one inning striking out two.

Maggie Mandino led the Angels with two singles. Kaelynn Williams and Loren Sivils each added singles. 


Minden will play again at 11 a.m. on Saturday. 

In AAA baseball, Minden dominated Vernon Parish 14-0.
