Austin wins first place at Lakeside Scholars Competition

Lakeside High School held its annual Scholars Competition Friday. Scholars Competition is a long-standing tradition at the school that sees high school students compete in answering questions from a variety of categories including grammar, algebra, health, biology, civics, geography, history, literature, etc. This year’s winner was senior Destiny Austin. Second place went to sophomore Samantha Phillips. More than 100 students participated.
