Bossier City identifies body found in Red River

Bossier City Police received a call of a body floating in the Red River on Wednesday August 21^st, at approximately 6:22 p.m. The incident was called in by Jet Skiers that saw the body. Bossier Police and Fire responded and the body was pulled from the water and taken by the Bossier Coroner. The body has been identified as 38 y/o Black Male – Dominique Washington. Foul play is not suspected at this time and this incident is still under investigation. Additional information on this drowning will be provided as it becomes available.
