Trevillion

Brenda Wynelle Trevillion (Mims, Mimmaw), 69, passed away at her home in Minden on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones.

She will be remembered as a kind, generous and witty woman, who loved her family, her pets and crafts. Those who knew Brenda will remember her to be quite the entrepreneur, having established her craft business, Trevillion’s Treasures. She enjoyed and took pride in knowing that the items she created with her own hands would bring joy to those who received them. She has created items for a multitude of people throughout the United States and even in other countries. All that she has created will be cherished.

We will celebrate her life even as we mourn her passing. 2 Corinthians 5:6-9 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Olivia and Hopson Long (Mamo and Dado). Brenda leaves behind her husband of 26 years, whom she loved and treasured, Temple (Duke) Trevillion. She is the beloved mother of five children and two stepchildren; Dana Bradley, Charles Bradley, Misty Green (John), Cristy Kyle (Jason), Jacklyn Barze (Todd), Stephen Trevillion (Tracy) and Toby Trevillion (Alicia). She is also survived by two siblings, Mary and Jessie; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She loved each and every one of them.

Brenda has chosen to make the most selfless contribution of an anatomical donation to medical science. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a contribution in Brenda’s name to any of the organizations listed here.

Take solace in knowing that the Lord has lifted her up, she is with Him and she is watching over us all.

Love you! Hakuna Matata!
