Chamber’s Cash Mob hits Brookshire’s

The Greater Minden Chamber held a cash mob Friday at Brookshires. The purpose of the event is to encourage chamber members and the public to support local businesses by showing up as a group to spend at least $20 dollars. Members descended upon the grocer Friday to finish up last minute Thanksgiving shopping. Chamber President Stephanie Barnette said the event had a great turnout and she is looking forward to the next event. To participate, call the chamber office at 377-4240.
