The Minden Foundation will host its annual charity golf tournament beginning Friday, May 30, to raise funds for local families impacted by emergencies such as house fires, floods, or medical crises.

The three-day event will open with a cocktail hour Friday evening, followed by dinner, games, and an auction and raffle.

Tournament play begins Saturday, May 31, with a 7:30AM shotgun start for morning flights. Additional events include “Birdies, Bubbles & Bingo” at 10:00AM and a player lunch. Afternoon flights will tee off at 1:00PM. The Titleist tent opens at 5:30PM, and Calcutta is scheduled for 6:30PM.

Play will continue Sunday, June 1, with morning flights starting at 7:30AM and afternoon flights at 1:00PM.

Flight payouts include $1,500 for first place, $1,000 for second, $750 for third, and $500 for fourth. The event will feature two-person teams. The $1,100 entry fee includes all food and drinks.

Though the event is a private fundraiser, spectators are welcome. Those who wish to eat and drink must pay $100 per person per day.

The Minden Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing charitable assistance to individuals and families in the Minden area. The foundation partners with local ministers, school principals, and social workers to identify those in need.
