The City of Minden will be holding a Ministers Breakfast at 7:30 AM on August 15 at the Minden Community House to discuss important issues facing the community of Minden.
City officials want to take this opportunity to build stronger relationships with the pastors and ministers of Minden, and they hope that hearing diverse perspectives and opinions will help them find better solutions to many of the problems Minden faces.
“We’re going to have a day for anyone who is a pastor or a minister in Minden to come be a part of a discussion. If they have solutions to anything or they have issues or things that they would like to discuss, we want to hear them. A lot of times, pastors are able to see or hear things that we don’t,” said Police Chief Jared McIver.
