The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs return to action Tuesday night in a Conference USA game against New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M.

The Bulldogs (2-3, 1-1) are coming off a 48-21 victory over Middle Tennessee last Thursday at home. This is the first of three straight Tuesday night games. Kickoff is 8 o’clock and the game will be broadcast on ESPNU.

Tech can match the number of wins in Head Coach Sonny Cumbie’s first two seasons with a victory.

New Mexico State (1-5, 0-3) fell to Jacksonville State 54-13 last week. The Aggies have lost four in a row since defeating Southeast Missouri 23-16 in the season opener.

NMS’s conference losses have come against CUSA leaders Liberty, 30-24 and Sam Houston, 31-11.

Louisiana Tech redshirt freshman quarterback Evan Bullock was named the conference’s Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Middle Tennessee.

He completed 18-of-25 passes for 295 yards and five touchdowns.
