Community event to offer free food and fellowship Saturday

Food 4 the Soul, in partnership with Project Reclaim, will host a community event titled Serving the Community on Saturday, June 28, at The Farm, located at 419 East Union Street in Minden. The event will take place from 2 to 5 PM.

Organizers say the event is open to all and will include free food and drinks for those who attend.

Food 4 the Soul operates under the motto, “Changing lives one meal at a time,” and regularly conducts outreach programs aimed at addressing food insecurity and building stronger community ties.

Project Reclaim, a local leadership and mentoring organization, is assisting with the event.

Both groups encourage residents to come out and enjoy a meal, fellowship, and support.
