Early December Webster Parish Sheriff deputies responded to a call in reference to a disturbance in Doyline. This call was made regarding Jason Gaynor of the 100 block of Green Park Drive who was arrested on domestic abuse charges.
Upon their arrival, deputies made contact with the girlfriend of Gaynor. “[She] has visible red marks around her neck and chest area, the report stated. “(She) stated that her boyfriend, Jason Gaynor, of 1 ½ years pinned her down in bed due to a HIV test result.”
Luckily she was able to break free from being pinned down on the bed, but Gaynor tackled her in the yard as she was attempting to leave.
“She was able to escape and run outside into the yard where Jason then tackled her. While she was on the ground, Jason put both of his hands around her neck causing her breathing to be restricted. She does not remember if she lost consciousness,” the report stated.
During the course of the investigation, Gaynor was found to also have three outstanding warrants through Webster Sheriff’s office. Gaynor was transported to BDCC where he was advised of his rights per miranda and booked on the charges of domestic abuse battery with strangulation as well as the outstanding warrants.
