Runners from Glenbrook and Minden fared well in the WK Palmetto XC Classic held Saturday at Palmetto Country Club in Benton.
Glenbrook eighth-grader Carson Powell finished 20th in the boys division. He covered the 3-mile course in 19:34.5 seconds.
Glenbrook freshman Laurie Killgore and Minden freshman Lizzie Balkom finished 22nd and 23rd, respectively, in the girls division.
Killgore ran a 24:52.87 and Balkom a 24:52.90.
Glenbrook freshman Emma Garner, eighth-grader Emerson McLelland and junior Hadley Haynes finished 30-31-32.
Glenbrook finished fifth in the girls division and eighth in the boys.
Cedar Creek’s Emma Bielkiewicz won the girls individual title in 20:01.64. Loyola’s Franklin Roemer won the boys in 17:03.81.
Glenbrook’s Ila Downer finished 10th in the sixth-grade girls 1-mile race.
