Funeral services for Donald B. Black will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock and the Rev. Tommy Thompkins officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Donald was born Sept. 26, 1944, in Guernsey, Ark. and entered into rest Oct. 18, 2014, in Minden. Donald was retired from DCP Midstream and loved gardening and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
His wife, Linda L. Black; daughter, Stacy Watts; and parents, Hubert and Blanche Black preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim Whitlock and husband, Jeff of Minden; sons, Doug Black and wife, Jennifer of Minden and Brandon Watts; and grandchildren, Colby, Tyler, Sydney and Phoenix.
Pallbearers will be friends and co-workers David Bradley, Robert Clements, Mickey Harmon, Larry Lee, Shannon Roten and Donnie Womack.
