Graveside services for Donald Edwin Satterberg will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at NW LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.

Donald was born August 21, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and entered into rest August 14, 2018 in Minden, Louisiana.

Donald graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis. He joined the United States Army at age 18 in 1943. He served as paramedic during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He sold electric wire for Teledyne AWD over 40 years in southern California. When he retired he was national vice president of marketing and sales. He was City Commander in Fullerton, California 1997-1998. He is an active member of BPO Elks organization and American Legion organization.

Don has three children -James Donald 1948, Sandra Louise 1950, and Dorothy Ann 1956. Don met Patricia McConville Dedmon on a cruise to Acapulco and remarried in 2005. They moved to north Louisiana (“the greatest spot on earth”) to be near his sister Loraine White (deceased).

He was preceded I death by Loraine and Al White.

Don leaves behind his wife, children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
