The Dorcheat Historical Association announces the launch of a fundraising campaign for the expansion of its museum. This expansion will enhance the museum’s ability to preserve our local history and better accommodate patrons by completing work on the building adjacent to the current museum. This is Phase I of a three phase project.
This project began and was halted several years ago. Completion of the building presented an enormous financial challenge. Breaking it up into smaller segments creates a viable path forward. The time has come to complete the expansion and maximize the ability of the museum to serve our community.
For 18 years, the Dorcheat Historical Association Museum has served as a vital resource for the community, showcasing the rich heritage and stories that define Webster Parish. The need for expansion is vital to our mission.
