Minden, LA — The Dorcheat Historical Association & Museum is proud to announce its selection as a recipient of a 2025 Culture Care Fund grant from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities (LEH). The $5,000 grant will support general operating expenses, helping to sustain the museum’s ongoing efforts to preserve and share the rich history of Webster Parish.
The Culture Care Fund grant is part of LEH’s commitment to strengthening Louisiana’s cultural organizations through direct operational support. With this funding, the Dorcheat Museum will continue its mission of collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories that shape the identity of Webster Parish.
“We are honored to receive this vital support from the LEH,” said Jessica Gorman, Executive Director of the Dorcheat Historical Association & Museum. “This grant enables us to continue offering educational programming, maintain our exhibits, and serve the community as a place of historical learning and cultural connection. We extend our deepest gratitude to the LEH for its continued support.”
