E.S. Richardson Elementary School students are enjoying a new addition to their playground area with the installation of a half-court basketball court this summer.
Thanks to Clint Powell and his team from Gnarly Brothers Construction, Inc., a VersaCourt basketball overlay was installed just in time for students to use during recess on September 18. The project fulfilled a request made by students, as the school had previously polled its Student of the Year candidates, and the top improvement they sought was basketball goals with a concrete court base.
The new court has been a hit with students, with many expressing excitement over the improved play area. School officials are hopeful that the addition will enhance recreational activities for the students.
E.S. Richardson Elementary thanked Gnarly Brothers Construction for their efforts in bringing this popular project to completion.
