Fifth arrest made in credit card theft scheme

A fifth suspect has been arrested in connection to a theft scheme that targeted oil field fuel cards.

Webster Parish Sheriff deputies arrested Sarah Elizabeth Green, 33, of Homer Monday on charges of money laundering, access device fraud, conspiracy to commit access device fraud and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Earlier in October, deputies arrested William Dishinger and three others in connection to the theft of gas cards from oil field trucks across seven states.

During questioning, Dishinger admitted to stealing, with the help of Green, more than $200,000 from Baker Hughes by using cards to purchase gift cards and make cash transactions, according to the arrest affidavit.

During questioning, Green admitted to being involved with the scheme before asking for an attorney, according to the report.

Dishinger, 43, of the 100 block of McIntyre Road faces charges of conspiracy to commit burglary, access device fraud, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit access device fraud, money laundering.

The other three, Janice Faye Sherman, Shawn William Milligan and Tiffany Ann Caldwell were arrested on multiple charges for their involvement with the crime and possessing the stolen cards, according to their arrest affidavits.

Green is also a wanted fugitive from Arlington, Texas, according to the report.
