Glenbrook Lady Apaches beat Prairie View, 13-3

The Glenbrook Lady Apaches gave their three seniors, Kate Marvin, Kara Bryce and Kate Lillig, a great senior night.

The Lady Apaches were the better team on Monday, blasting the Prairie View Academy Lady Spartans 13-3 in Minden to pick up an important district win.

Hannah Mosley provided the big bat for Glenbrook in this contest, going 3-for-5 with a triple and 5 RBIs on the night.

As for the seniors, Marvin went 1-for-3 with a double and 3 runs scored, Bryce had a run scored and Lillig went 1-for-4 with an RBI and run scored.

Prairie View actually led this matchup in the second inning when they hung two runs on Glenbrook starter Alyssa Martin.

The Spartan lead was short-lived, as Glenbrook scored 3 runs in the bottom half of the inning and added a 3-run fifth and 5-run sixth.

Emma Earnhardt went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBIs for the Lady Apaches, continuing her excellent season; Aubrie Dickson was also 2-for-4, with an RBI and 2 runs scored for Glenbrook.

Martin went 4.o innings and struck out two to get the win, while Mosley pitched the final inning in relief.
Glenbrook’s next game will be Thursday at River Oaks.
