Glenbrook School rallies around student with weekly support days

by Minden Press-Herald

Glenbrook School in Minden has united in support of 8th grader Dalton Harber, who is currently undergoing treatment at St. Jude. To boost his spirits, the school has organized “Dalton Harber Day” every Tuesday, with each grade taking turns bringing items for Dalton during his treatments.

Last week, the 8th grade initiated the effort by presenting Dalton with a Glenbrook blanket signed by all students in grades 7 through 12. They also included restaurant gift cards for Dalton’s enjoyment.

This Tuesday, the 12th grade is slated to bring some of Dalton’s favorite snacks, while students in grades K through 6 will be signing a blue Glenbrook blanket for him. The upcoming weeks are similarly themed, with 7th graders bringing games on April 22, 9th graders offering books on April 29, and 10th graders providing shopping gift cards on May 7. The 11th graders will wrap up the support initiative on May 14 by bringing gift cards for online games.

The entire student body and faculty at Glenbrook School are eagerly anticipating Dalton’s return and continue to show unwavering support for their fellow student.
