Glenbrook teams compete for Swamp Bowl titles

The Glenbrook third and fourth and fifth and sixth grade football teams competed in the Swamp Bowl recently to determine champions for their season. Here are the results.

3rd-4th Grade

Semi-finals

Glenbrook 18
Briarfield 0

Chase Sentell led the Apaches in the semi-final win with 62 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Reagan Coyle rushed for 58 yards and one score and Landry Powell added 20 yards rushing and a touchdown. Cade Herron, Chase Sentell, Garrett Brown and Landry Powell all led the team in tackles.

Tallulah 0

Glenbrook won the third and fourth grade Swamp Bowl title behind a big game from Chase Sentell who had 142 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Reagan Coyle had 47 yards rushing in support and added an interception on defense. Cade Herron, Garrett Brown and Jackson Lott led the defense in tackles.

5th-6th Grade

Semi-finals

Glenbrook 8
Claiborne 6

Peyton Wells passed for 68 yards, Maddox Mandino rushed for 106 yards and Cooper Chase caught two passes for 26 yards to give Glenbrook the win. Mandino, Jake Hortman and Cale Hollis led the team in tackles and Chase Tolbert had an interception.

St. Fred’s 25

Cooper Chase caught a 75 yard touchdown pass from Maddox Mandino, while Peyton Wells completed a 25-yard pass to Cason Clemons. Mandino had eight tackles to lead the team, followed by Landry Powell with six.
