The Heflin Fire Department kicked off Fire Safety Month by visiting Central Elementary School on October 1 to discuss fire safety with Pre-K students in Mrs. Finley and Ms. Willis’s classes. The children enjoyed an interactive experience, learning fire safety tips, meeting local firefighters, and exploring a real fire truck.
The event was part of October’s Fire Safety Month activities, aimed at educating young students about the importance of fire prevention and what to do in emergencies. The hands-on learning left a lasting impression on the students.
