High school baseball: Doyline picks up win in Stanley tournament

The Doyline Panthers defeated Converse 15-0 in six innings in the Stanley tournament Friday.

Noah Spears pitched a one-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks.

Cayden Mingo went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Benton Bates went 2-for-2 with a double.

Spears hit a three-run home run. He also walked twice and finished with four RBI.

Dakota Stewart had two RBI.

Doyline improved to 7-6.
