High school baseball: Glenbrook, Doyline win

The Glenbrook Apaches and Doyline Panthers won games Friday.

Glenbrook routed Evangel Christian 13-0 in five innings at Glenbrook. Doyline rolled past Ringgold 16-0 in three innings at Doyline.

Elsewhere, Minden fell to D’Arbonne Woods 9-1 at Minden, and Lakeside dropped a 10-0 decision to Benton at Benton. The Lakeside game was part of the Many tournament.

At Glenbrook, seven Apaches combined for 11 hits. Preston Frye went 3-for-3 with four RBI. Ryan Reagan went 2-for-2 and drew two walks. Kleaton Davis hit a leadoff home run in the fourth. He finished with three RBI. Sam Ricord drew three walks.

Jackson Waller and Seth Mangrum had one double each.

Easton Sanders pitched a two-hitter. He struck out eight and walked none.

The game was supposed to be the second of a three-game series. With the threat of storms, Saturday’s Game Three was canceled. Glenbrook (2-1) swept the two games.

At Doyline, five Panthers combined for six hits. Doyline (2-0) took advantage of seven walks and three errors.

Noah Spears went 2-for-2 with a home run, triple and three RBI. Kayson Wilk and Dario Galvez had two RBI each. Zach Normand drew three walks.

Galvez struck out six and walked three in the three innings.

At Minden, the Tide (2-1) got only two hits off Dakota Jordan, who struck out seven and walked three.

Bryson Ranger and Landyn Huddleston had singles. Ranger had an RBI. D’Arbonne Woods improved to 1-1.

At Benton, Lakeside got four singles off two Benton pitchers. The Warriors dropped to 0-2.
