The 29th annual Don Stahl Memorial Tournament begins Wednesday at Lakeside.
There are 10 teams in the girls division and seven in the boys.
Minden and Haynesville open the tournament with a first-round girls game at 3:45 p.m. I. The high school gym.
In other first-round girls games, Lakeside plays North Caddo at 5 in the high school gym, Calvary Baptist faces North DeSoto at 5 in the junior high gym and North Webster plays North Caddo at 6:30 in the junior high gym.
In first-round boys games, Lakeside faces Plain Dealing at 6:30 p.m. and Minden takes on Arcadia at 8. Both games are in the high school gym.
In a first-round boys game Thursday, Camden, Ark. plays Ringgold at 8. In a first-round girls game, Simsboro faces Ringgold at 3:45. Both games are in the high school gym.
Magnolia School of Excellence received a first-round bye in the boys bracket.
The tournament runs through Saturday. The girls championship game is at 3 Saturday and the boys is at 4:30. Play starts at noon with the girls consolation finals followed by the boys at 1:30.
Ringgold defeated Minden 66-54 in the boys championship game last year. Camden won the girls tournament last year and Minden was the runner-up.
