High school basketball: North Webster sweeps Plain Dealing; Lady Knights extend winning streak to four

North Webster swept Plain Dealing in girls and boys games Monday night at Plain Dealing.

The Lady Knights won 43-34 and the Knights won 76-43.

Senior guard Aniyah Davis led Lady Knights with 19 points. She also had nine rebounds, six steals and four assists.

Senior guard Nyzia Segobia hit two big 3-pointers in the third quarter as North Webster rallied from a two-point halftime deficit to take a 29-24 lead.

Segobia finished with eight points and three rebounds.

Davis had seven points, including a 3, in the fourth quarter.

Germya Harris contributed to the victory with seven points, six rebounds and two assists.

Jakayla Douglas led Plain Dealing (4-7) with 15 points.

North Webster (4-1) will take a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s home game against North Caddo.

The Knights picked up their first victory after opening the season with two losses. They also host North Caddo Tuesday.
