The Doyline Panthers are off to a 4-0 start.
Doyline defeated Stanley 58-47 Monday night in Stanley.
Freshman guard Jay Patterson led the Panthers with 24 points.
Broox Swain, a 6-foot-6 senior forward, had a double-double with 12 points and 17 rebounds. He also had five blocks and one steal.
Senior point guard Cayden Mingo had nine points, five assists, three rebounds and three steals.
Senior wing Keidric Clark had eight points, nine rebounds, two blocks and one assist.
Doyline also defeated Simsboro 61-54 Friday and Monterey 69-41 Thursday. Both games were at Doyline.
Swain had a double-double against Simsboro with 16 points and 13 rebounds. He also had two assists and one block.
Patterson scored a team-high 19 points. He also had seven rebounds and one steal.
Mingo and junior Damarion McClendon scored 12 points each.
Mingo also had six assists, four rebounds and three steals. McClendon also had four assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Patterson had 23 points and seven rebounds against Monterey. He also had three steals and one assist.
Patterson is averaging 21.3 points per game.
McClendon had 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Clark had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. He also had a block, steal and assist.
Mingo had seven assists, seven points, four steals and three rebounds.
