After three weeks on the road, the Glenbrook Apaches returned home Friday night and rolled past the Magnolia School of Excellence Mariners 55-0.
Glenbrook improved to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in District 1-1A. Magnolia dropped to 0-6 and 0-2.
The game was decided early. Glenbrook led 20-0 after the first quarter and 41-0 at the half.
Easton Sanders threw three touchdown passes. Chase Sentell and Landry Powell scored one rushing and one receiving touchdown each.
Cade Vining, Seth Mangrum and Nick Kilgore all had rushing touchdowns. Jackson Waller had one touchdown reception.
Glenbrook is home again Friday against Ringgold. The Redskins (3-3, 1-2) lost to Arcadia 48-0 Friday night.
Union Parish 43, North Webster 14: At Farmerville, the defending district champion Farmers proved too much for the Knights to handle.
Union Parish improved to 4-2 overall with its third straight victory and 2-0 in District 1-3A. The Farmers’ only two losses were to Class 5A teams Airline and Captain Shreve.
North Webster fell to 3-3 and 1-2.
The Knights dug themselves a hole early, falling behind 24-7.
North Webster hosts Carroll Friday. The Bulldogs (3-3, 0-3) lost to Wossman 38-0 Friday night.
D’Arbonne Woods Charter 49, Lakeside 0: At Lakeside, the Warriors had no answer for the undefeated Timberwolves in a District 1-2A opener.
D’Arbonne Woods rolled to a 35-0 halftime lead. The Timberwolves improved to 5-0.
Lakeside dropped to 3-3. The Warriors were shut out for the second week in a row.
Lakeside visits North Caddo Friday. The Titans (1-5) lost to Calvary Baptist 70-0 Friday night.
