The Glenbrook Lady Apaches and Lakeside Lady Warriors closed their regular seasons with victories Monday.
Glenbrook defeated Choudrant 5-2 at Glenbrook, and Lakeside downed Castor 9-3 at Lakeside.
Tuesday is the final day of the regular season. The LHSAA is set to announce the pairings Wednesday.
At Glenbrook, Rebecca Mosley pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts and three walks.
Vivian Still went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBI. Her two-run home run gave the Lady Apaches a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth.
Colby Hollis went 2-for-4 with a double. Anna Grace Vining had a hit and two RBI. She also drew two walks.
Glenbrook finished the regular season 23-8.
At Lakeside, six Lady Warriors combined for seven hits. Rhea Waller went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Teal Austin’s two-RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth gave Lakeside an 8-3 lead. She finished with four RBI.
McKenna Chreene scattered eight hits, struck out six and walked none.
Lakes closed the regular season 25-5.
