The Lakeide Warriors and Glenbrook Lady Apaches picked up victories on the final day of tournaments Saturday.
Lakeside won two games in its tournament, defeating Cedar Creek 10-9 and Downsville 18-1. Glenbrook split games in the Grace Christian tournament in Alexandria, defeating Sacred Heart 8-6 and falling to Anacoco 9-6.
At Lakeside, Raleah Harris went 4-for-5 with a home run, triple, two doubles and four RBI against Cedar Creek. Emily Jones went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and two RBI.
McKenna Chreene went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI. Meredith Robinson had two hits.
Lakeside rallied with three runs in the bottom of the second. Robinson singled with one out and Jones followed with her home run to tie it. Harris then won it with her homer.
Chreene went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in the three-inning game against Downsville. Teal Austin had a triple and three RBI. Maggie Mandino had two RBI.
Lakeside (14-2) is scheduled to resume District 3-2A play Tuesday at Winnfield at 5:30.
Glenbrook’s Vivian Still went 2-for-2 with a double against Sacred Heart. Anna Grace Vining had a double and two RBI. Chloe Gregg had two RBI.
Rebecca Mosley went 6 1/3 innings for the win. Savannah Mangrum got the last two outs.
Six Lady Apaches combined for 10 hits against Anacoco. Colby Hollis went 3-for-4. Hallie Harmon went 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBI. Still went 2-for-4 with a double. Gabi Brown had a double.
Glenbrook (12-4) is scheduled to visit St. Frederick Monday at 5.
