The Minden Lady Tiders, Lakeside Lady Warriors and Doyline Lady Panthers won non-district games Tuesday.
Minden edged Castor 6-5 at Minden, Lakeside downed Caddo Magnet 12-2 at Lakeside and Doyline defeated Providence Classical Academy 17-3 at Doyline.
At Minden, the Lady Tiders rallied from a 5-1 deficit after three innings. They scored two in the fourth and one in the fifth to get within one then took the lead with two in the sixth.
Minden scored both runs in the sixth with two outs. Sky Savage singled and scored the tying run on a double by Leigha Kennon-Gilbert. Kennon-Gilbert then stole third and scored what proved to be the winning run on an error.
Castor loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the seventh. But Lindsay Ryan ended the game with a strikeout.
Lizzie Balkom and Kennon-Gilbert both had two doubles. Ryan pitched all seven innings. She allowed six hits, struck out six and walked three.
Minden (12-14) hosts Junction City, Ark., Thursday at 5.
At Lakeside, the Lady Warriors led 4-2 after four innings then ended the game with eight in the bottom of the fifth.
Maggie Mandino went 4-for-4 with a double. Ella Wood went 2-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBI. Moose Jernigan went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Meredith Robinson went 2-for-4. McKenna Chreene hit a grand slam home run in the fifth to give the Lady Warriors an 8-2 lead in the fifth. She finished with five RBI.
Raleah Harris hit a solo home run and had two RBI.
Chreene gave up three hits, struck out seven and walked one in five innings.
Lakeside (22-5) visits Evangel Christian Thursday at 5:30.
At Doyline, the Lady Panthers led 2-0 after two innings then scored nine in the third and seven in the fourth and final inning.
Savannah Stanley, Sariyah Gill, Karmadie Bartlett, Kanyion Bartlett and Raelynn Pease all had two hits. Karmadie Bartlett, Stanley, Gill and Lanie Gates all had doubles.
Stanley started and went three innings. She didn’t allow a hit, struck out three and walked four.
Doyline (10-5) visits Captain Shreve Wednesday at 6.
