Minden finished third in the boys division in the District 1-4A meet Thursday in Stonewall.
The Crimson Tide scored 70 points. Host North DeSoto won with 178. Northwood was second with 94.
North DeSoto also won the girls division with 208 points. Bossier was second with 104 and Loyola College Prep third with 77.
The top four finishers in each event qualified for the Region I-4A meet Wednesday in Alexandria.
Porter Neal won the boys 400 in 50.09 seconds. Bossier’s Omarion Edwards was second in 52.93.
Brayden Britton finished second in the 110 hurdles in 15.95. North DeSoto’s Chaz Martinez won in 15.74.
Minden won the 4X400 relay. The foursome of Neal, Christian Lofton, Kaden Shine and Britton ran a 3:32.72. Booker T. Washington was second in 3:35.45.
The foursome of Britton, Neal, Jaden Johnson and Shine was third in the 4X200 in 1:31.26. Northwood won in 1:29.30.
The foursome of Lofton, Keshun Williams, Jaiden Combs and Carter Martin finished third in the 4X800 in 9:51.84. Loyola won in 8:48.53.
Jonathan Bradford took third in the discus with a throw of 125 feet, 1 inch. Northwood’s Kristion Johnson won with a 137-0.
Abreon Curry took third in the triple jump with a 39-8. North DeSoto’s Javonte Taylor won with a 47-3.
Holt Holliday finished third in the javelin with a 134-7. North DeSoto’s Alex Simpson won with a 146-9.
Demetrius Robinson was fourth in the shot put with a 42-7. Woodlawn’s Marcus Palmer won with a 47-2.
Pryncess Lathon was Minden’s lone regional qualifier in the girls division. She qualified in the 200 with a third-place finish and 100 with a fourth-place finish.
Lathon ran a 26.33 in the 200. Northwood’s Maylayia Davis won in 25.75. She ran a
12.77 in the 100. North DeSoto’s Taylor Clark won in 12.45.
