I-20 on-ramp in Dixie Inn remains closed

The Interstate 20 westbound on ramp at exit 44 in Dixie Inn remains closed after Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development officials said there was a deficiency in the pavement.

DOTD officials said the height difference between the paved road and the adjacent graded material were more than DOTD allowed. Erin Buchanan, public information officer for DOTD said, the agency is currently working to secure funding and begin work on the project and hopes to complete the project in the next month.
