Katajah LaShun Chatman was born March 17, 1991 in Shreveport to Woodtina Chatman and Eddie Tyrone Harris. Katajah confessed her belief in Christ at an early age. She was an active member of the Mt. Calm Baptist Church working with the video ministry until God called her home.

Katajah graduated from Minden High School in 2010.

Katajah will be remembered by her family for being compassionate, funny, vibrant, and one who loved children. She loved the Lord even at her young age and made sure that her little special cousins knew who the Lord was also.

Katajah leaves her precious memories to her mother, Woodtina Chapman (Eddie Jackson) of Minden; daddy, Eddie Tyrone Harris of DeSoto, Texas; sisters Se’Kordnei Harris and Tiara Buffett of Shreveport; uncles, Roderick Chatman of Minden, Shawn Harris (Latasha) of Plano, Texas and Eric Harris (Vicki) of Grand Prairie, Texas; aunts Dalonda Chatman of Minden and Natasha Harris of Natchitoches; maternal grandparents Dorothy Chatman of Minden and Woodrow Wilson of Dallas; paternal grandparents: Mary Helen Harris of DeSoto; special cousins D’Shawndric Chatman, JaDarrius Chatman and JaMya Chatman and a host of cousins, family and friends.

Funeral services for Katajah will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Mt. Calm Missionary Baptist Church in Minden with the Rev. T. Alexander Knapp officiating.
