The KTBS 3 Community Caravan is set to roll into Minden next week, bringing a spotlight to local eateries and inviting the public to meet with KTBS staff during a week of community-focused programming.
The visit will include a special segment of “Tasty Tuesday” featuring El Santito Mexican Restaurant. The downtown Minden eatery, known for its blend of Latin, Mediterranean, and Mexican cuisine, will be highlighted as part of KTBS reporter Rick Rowe’s weekly food feature.
Later in the week, a community lunch will be held at Orleans on Main Bistreaux. Residents are encouraged to attend the public event, meet KTBS staff, and share what they love about Minden. Some of these community comments will be featured during KTBS’s evening newscasts.
The Community Caravan occurs once a month and aims to profile different towns throughout the ArkLaTex region. During the Caravan week, Rowe incorporates his regular segments such as “Tasty Tuesday” and “Stories from the Heart” to feature the host town.
The KTBS 3 Community Caravan initiative is designed to strengthen community connections and give residents across the region a chance to share their voices on-air.
