Qualifying members of Lakeside High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization attended the national conference in Orlando, Florida, during the last week of June. These bright students represented Webster Parish well by competing in the areas of Business Calculations, Spreadsheets, Help Desk, Organizational Leadership, and Political Science.
The participants, Edgar Silva, Joshua Hasty, Cameron Murray, Ethan Patterson, and Kamryn Goodson, also had the opportunity to spend a few days at Walt Disney World before heading to the competition. Lesa Ward served as sponsor, and Amy Ray served as a chaperone.
The members extend a huge thank you to all of their corporate sponsors: Clerk of Court Holli Vining, Assessor Denise Edwards, Sanders Machine, River Cities Machinists, Country Market, Meriweather Wealth and Planning, Gibsland Bank and Trust, and the Krewe of Ambassadors.
