Lane Closures: I-220 in Shreveport starting Monday

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, April 8, 2019, the following I-220 intermittent lane closures in Caddo Parish will be in effect from US 71 (N. Market St.) to LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby III Ave).

    Reason: joint sealing

    Location: Right lane I-220 westbound
    Reason: joint sealing
  • Wednesday, April 10, 2019
    Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    Location: Left lane I-220 eastbound
    Reason: joint sealing
    Location: I-49 southbound to I-220 eastbound entire ramp
    Reason: work on finger joints
  • Thursday, April 11, 2019
    Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    Location: Left lane I-220 eastbound
    Reason: joint sealing
    Location: Right lane I-220 westbound
    Reason: joint sealing
  • Friday, April 12, 2019
    Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    Location: Right lane I-220 eastbound
    Reason: incidental paving
    Location: I-49 southbound to I-220 eastbound entire ramp

All of these closures are related to the I-49 Segment K2 project in Shreveport.
