Little league football season wraps up

The Minden Recreation Complex hosted the final little league football games of the year, as another season of fun on the football field came to an end. Here are the results from those games.

Patillo Punishers vs. Titans

In action from Monday, Nov. 3, The Patillo Punishers defeated the Titans by a score of 27-0.

Leading the way for the Punishers was Aldravion Taylor with 114 yards and three touchdowns. Also scoring a touchdown was Kevin Ward who finished with 70 yards along with his score. Travion Sanders had a big game as well, rushing for 170 yards and an extra point. Kavion Hill added 75 yards, Roman Loera had 24 yards and Kentravion Lister had 27.

The Titans were led by Jamontez Ridley with 34 yards. Eddie Markray ran for 25 yards of his own and Dai’Malik Miller finished with 47 yards.

Cooper Tire Cobras vs. Little Tiders

The Cooper Tire Cobras earned a hard-fought win over the Little Tiders in the second game of the night, 7-0.

Both teams played great defense in this game with the leading rusher for Cooper Tire being Dexter Smith with 56 yards. Jaylin Williams carried for 30 yards, Daylen Robinson had 4 yards and Keithric Kimble added an extra point.

Ty’Jaylyn Kemp led the Little Tiders with 26 yards, followed by Chelby Hinton with 10.

Acuren Rays vs. Saints

Acuren Rays defeated the Saints on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 26-6.

Acuren was led by Tyrell Siah’s 178 yards and two touchdowns. Kamryn Lewis added 94 yards and two scores as well. Maurice Rabb rounded out Acuren’s offense with 34 yards.

Jordan Coleman led the Saints with 118 yards and a touchdown. Cade Boley also had a good outing, going for 36 yards.

Titans vs. Mohawks

The Titans defeated the Mohawks in Tuesday’s second game, 33-0.

Eddie Markray had a huge game with 143 yards and a trio of touchdowns, followed closely by Jamontez Ridley’s 108 yards and two scores and Trenton McClaughlin’s 173 yards and one touchdown.

Nathan Ben led the Mohawks with 121 yards. Ja’Colby Snell added 22 yards for the Mohawks.
Dawgs vs. Minden Athletic

The Dawgs topped Minden Athletic 7-0 on the last day of games.

The Dawgs got a big game from Skylar Butler who totaled 90 yards and a score. D’angelo Garner added 41 yards, Andrew Cooper had 42 and Grady Brasher had 7 yards and an extra point.

Jakobe Greenard had 63 yards to lead Minden Athletic. Darryl Thomas added 55 yards and Collin Lane Richard had 21
yards.

Patillo Punishers vs. Lil’ Tiders

The Punishers won their final game of the year, 12-7 over the Lil’ Tiders.

Shamar Crow led the Punishers with 93 yards and a score. Travion Sanders had 134 yards and a score, Kevin Ward had 93 yards and Aldravion Taylor finished up with 67 yards on the ground for Patillo.

Justin Richardson led the way for the Lil’ Tiders with 67 yards and a touchdown. Je’Dyah Taylor ran for 21 yards and an extra point. Tristen Murry and Kristopher Redden both finished with 10 yards.
