This weekend will be all about hometown NFL star L’Jarius Sneed, with three days of events set to take place in Minden.

On Thursday, June 19, Sneed will host Game Plan for Health at the David Raines Community Health Center from 10 AM to 1 PM. The event will offer free food, wellness checks, and additional services. Sports physicals will also be available for youth, with a parent or guardian present.

On Friday, Sneed will lead his annual youth football camp at Minden High School. Registration begins at 6 PM, with stretches and warmups starting at 6:45 PM. The camp will run from 7 to 8:45 PM.

On Saturday, the Sneed Reach 1 Foundation will host a car show and 3v3 basketball tournament at the Minden REC Center from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event will include barbecue and taco trucks, along with a live DJ.

Sneed is a professional cornerback for the Tennessee Titans. He played college football at Louisiana Tech and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. A graduate of Minden High School, Sneed continues to give back to his hometown through youth and community outreach events.
