Mark Dennis Clement, age 59, a resident of Fordoche and native of Minden, was born on May 24, 1956 and passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at his home surrounded by his wife, Lindie Landry Clement, and other family members.

Mark was a life-long heavy equipment operator and was a current employee of Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury.

He is survived by his mother Joan Wiley Luck of Minden; step-mother Evelie Clement of Lake Charles; and mother-in-law Romona Landry of Fordoche; sisters and their husbands Cyndy C. Gay (Kenneth) and Becky C. White all of Minden and Mandy C. Barber (Ron) of Chino Valley, Arizona; step-brothers Ted Gilchrist of Lake Charles and Kevin Luck of Minden; sisters-in-law Sherry L. Meche (Randy) of Highland Falls, New York and Kathy L. Alston (Joe) of Hurley, Mississippi; son Wiley M. Clement (Sarah) USAF, Italy and daughter Casey C. Granger (Justin) of Beaumont, Texas; step-daughter Amie B. Buriege (David) of Livonia, and step-son John M. Griffin of Tennessee; and his eight grandchildren Arianna, Eva, and Carl Clement, Rhett and baby girl Granger, Chayse and Wyatt Buriege, and Cameron Griffin, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by his father Guy Clement Jr., step-father Joe Luck, brother-in-law Roger White, and nephew Keith Mangrum.

In lieu of a burial Mark has chosen to be cremated and a memorial will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Victory Park, located at 711 Gladney St. in Minden from 5 until 8 p.m.

Donations are welcomed to the Janelle Lacombe Cancer Foundation, Fordoche, or Minden St. Jude Auction, P.O. Box 583, Minden, LA 71058 in lieu of flowers.

The family would like to thank nurses and caregivers, Cassie, Ms. Gladys, and Jamie with Pointe Coupee Home Health Services.
