by Amber McDown

The City of Minden, Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce, and Webster Parish Tourism are teaming up for a community cleanup event on Thursday, April 25, from 8 AM to 1 PM. This collaborative effort aims to beautify our city and create a cleaner, more inviting environment for all.

“We need your help!” said organizers, emphasizing the importance of community involvement. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate, providing an excellent opportunity to give back to the community.

Participants can choose how they and/or their business/organization would like to get involved by using the form available by clicking HERE. The cleanup will be followed by an after-party and awards ceremony at 2 PM at Miller Quarters Park. The event promises music, games, food, and fun to celebrate everyone’s hard work.

Awards will be presented for various categories, including “Most Spirited Team,” “Largest Team,” and “Most Litter Collected.” Join the cleanup on April 25 to make a difference and enjoy a day of community spirit.
