Minden Police investigating shooting

Minden Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred over the weekend.

Police say around 1:30 a.m., Saturday, they received a report of shots fired in the area of Front Street.

Someone was walking down the street and fired a gun in the direction of some people sitting on their front porch, they said.

No one was injured during the incident or shot during the incident, police said.

“We don’t have any leads yet,” said Lt. Richard Cooper. “It’s still under investigation.”
