Playoffs get underway tonight

by Minden Press-Herald

The LHSAA boys playoffs get underway Friday night and two of our Webster Parish teams will be on the court hoping to keep their state championship dreams alive.

The Minden Crimson Tide (15-12, 4-6) will hit the road for a matchup with Class 4A’s No. 2 seed, Washington-Marion.

The Charging Indians enter the playoffs on a 12-game winning streak with a record of 18-8.

The Doyline Panthers (16-15) will also be on the road as they make the drive to Lafayette for a showdown with Episcopal of Acadiana.

The Tide tip off at 7 p.m. and Doyline gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
