Former North Webster and LSU star Devin White is signing a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to media reports.
The linebacker will join new Head Coach Pete Carroll and be reunited with General Manager John Spytek, who drafted him at Tampa Bay in 2019.
After spending five seasons with Tampa Bay that included a Super Bowl championship, White signed a one-year deal with $7.5 million with Philadelphia. He was released on Oct. 8 without having played a down, according to Wikipedia.
Two weeks later, he signed with the Houston Texans, He played in seven games last season and recorded 15 solo tackles and four assists.
Last summer, White conducted a clinic at his alma mater in Springhill.
