Richard (Rick) Beard, 71 years of age of Dixie Inn, Louisiana passed away on March 13, 2024. Richard was born on December 9, 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Wallace Beard and Laquitta Joy Fuller Beard and the mother of his children, Cathy Beard Miller.
Rick is survived by his loving daughters, Natalie Beard Frost and Rachael Beard Matthews, sister, Paula Beard Lucas of Princeton, brother, Randy Beard of Sibley and Loving Companion, Judy McKenzie. Rick leaves numerous friends and family members that were a very Special part of his life that he loved dearly as they did him. He was Uncle Rick to every Child that ever graced his water park theme Bayou Home designed with them in mind. Rick was symbolic of everything Special about entertaining on Da Bayou leaving us all with Precious Memories to fondly reminisce.
Rick was an Honorable, Hardworking, Knowledgeable Man’s Man with a Gentle Heart and Soul that touched and influenced the Very Lives that Shared in his Amazing Journey Through Life. Rick was a legend in his own Time and Ours and will be Deeply missed by All that knew and Loved Him Dearly.
