SPRINGHILL — Springhill police chief Will Lynd is dispelling rumors that one of his officers was fired.
Rumors began last week that Bryan Montgomery allegedly had child pornography on his computer, but Lynd said that isn’t true.
“I’ve had an officer resign for personal reasons, and I’ve had no officer arrested whatsoever,” he said. “He was an excellent officer. He was a good employee and a good friend. He brought a set of skills that will be hard to replace.”
Because it was a personnel matter, Lynd says he couldn’t go into any more detail regarding the matter.

One response to “Springhill PD officer not fired, chief says”
FBI took over Sarepta Officers office to run investigation out of for 3 weeks. So, if this isn’t true. Why did the FBI & LA State Troopers get involved. That’s all I want to know. And the above statements are facts, not hearsay.
