Students at Richardson Elementary School rally behind local NFL star

by Amber McDown

Students at Richardson Elementary School proudly displayed their Kansas City Chiefs spirit wear today in a show of support for hometown hero J.J. Sneed, the talented cornerback for the Chiefs. Sneed, a graduate of Minden High School, has garnered recognition as one of the premier defensive backs in the franchise’s history, currently trailing former safety Ron Parker by just 2.0 sacks for the top spot.

The display of Chiefs pride coincides with the upcoming showdown in Super Bowl LVIII, slated for Sunday, February 11, where the Chiefs will clash with the San Francisco 49ers. As the excitement builds for the big game, the community of Minden stands firmly behind their beloved athlete, eager to witness Sneed’s continued success on the national stage.
