A teacher at Airline High School has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of indecent behavior in the presence of juveniles.
Law enforcement officials confirmed the teacher, Evan Michael Sevin-Chauvin was taken into custody late yesterday evening by Bossier Parish Detectives and transported to the Bossier Max for processing.
Upon learning of the allegations, school officials immediately contacted law enforcement. Bossier Parish Schools are fully cooperating with the investigation being conducted by the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Bossier Parish Schools said in a statement, “We are greatly disturbed by the nature of the charges brought against this former educator and are cooperating with law enforcement to the fullest extent. It is important to note at this time investigators do not believe students were involved in or actually witnessed any of the inappropriate behavior he is accused of committing. Bossier Schools has a zero- tolerance policy when it comes to inappropriate behavior in the presence of juveniles and this former educator is no longer working in our school system.”
Evan Michael Sevin-Chauvin was arrested on the following charges: 14:81 Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
His Bond is set at $150,000.00
This Case is still under investigation.
